Re: SimAirline.net Farewell Event - Report & Pictures!
Let's thank the UPR student strike for this...I missed it. Last week I was still finishing my second semester. As a matter of fact, my last final exam was yesterday. Anyway, I'm glad you guys had a great time, and when my second part of my research stipend arrives, I'll set aside around $500 in ord...

Re: NOTAM Regarding Icelandic Volcanic Activity
The war is over. UK airspace opened again at 22:00 tonight with the first long-haul flights touching down no long after (Those aircraft were due to fly to Madrid, the UK's emergency hub). Now it's up to the airlines to sort this huge mess out! Aircraft all over the world and crew/pilots to sort out,...

Re: NOTAM Regarding Icelandic Volcanic Activity
Doesn't look like we are going to be set free of this cloud for several more days. Every time I click onto BBC NEWS, NATS have pushed the re-open date back by another 12 hours. I've already heard phrases like, "Banana rationing" being banded about! International post will be affected too! Looks like...

Oh and the hippies are already gloating.
Who's for turning on the engines on the asphalt and revving them?
Interesting that with a general election only weeks away, none of the politicians are even mentioning it!

Virtual Ryanair... really Brandon? :P I'm no longer really active in FS. I'm not active here and haven't been for some months, I have been checking this forum infrequently since. I have been around, just staying quiet. I took up rowing at the start of Uni a year and a half ago, this year I've been i...

Re: Question about Anti-Aliasing
It is a hardware dependant thing. You need a graphics card that can cope with AA. Do you know your current card make and model? Usualy you turn it on with the card drivers, but in some cases, you may find turning it on within FS in the 'Advanced' tab of the 'Display' section.

^^^ You must have had a full driving licence for 3 years as well as being 21 to accompany a learner driver. Once you pass your test you become a probationary driver for two years, which although has no real restrictions (Something that may change in the coming years), you only get 6 points on your l...

Wait for the summer months, it might pick up. BA usually start their new routes with something smaller then increase fleet size as required. Smart business if you ask me.

Re: If you wanna go, you gotta pay...
O'Leary said he wouldn't do it weeks ago. Interesting about how much media coverage it got. Even bad news is news. interesting how known their brand is... It's like they're being penalized for choosing to fly with them. Pay £5 for a flight to Milan, get treated like a £5 note in some fat guys wallet...
