As someone who obviously likes the old styling of Jaguar, how do you feel about the latest iteration of the XJ?: http://www.rpmgo.com/cars/v/2010_jaguar ... 8.jpg.html
Very different, but I think it has a very strong but still somewhat regal stance. And in person, it's huge.

Glad to hear Aaron, though you're right, it's a shame to see this happen regardless.

I'm between the Ferrari 599GTB or the 498 Italia right now. I'm not usually a huge Ferrari fan, but their latest machines are some of the best they've ever made, from looks to performance.

Re: SimAirline.net Farewell Event - Report & Pictures!
Good luck renting a car until you're 25. Sucks. Well, unless Oregon has regulations where only people of 25+ years of age can rent car, I might be able to do somethings, though at a little fee. Yup, you can do rentals with just about any company anywhere, as long as you pay a fee that's usua...

I was just about to ask about this today!
Sounds like a great time, wish I could have been there and gone on yet another tour with Aaron.
Have always wanted to make it up a ramp control tower, so that's pretty cool.

It's a Small World...
So I'm at work today, and a co-worker of mine walks in. She has some business cards she got at a convention recently, and wanted to find one in particular for a project I'm working on. She's flipping...flipping, there are about 1-200 of them. We're talking and I look down, and the one time I happen ...

Great, great shots. My favorite is definitely the first Gulf shot, with the Southwest approach a close second.

Re: My First Solo
Strange, I had 7 circuit lessons (only 4 before I was ready to solo, but weather held me up). Most of my lessons were 0.4-0.7 in length though. Thanks a lot, Josh! The left-turn tendency is a pain when you're up solo, especially on takeoff and climb-out. Wow that's pretty short for lesson length! T...

Congrats Sam!! I know I had the hugest smile on my face when I was on downwind and looked over to the right at the airport and didn't have to look around my instructor (our field has a right pattern).
Good luck with the rest of your work, it's a ton of fun.

Thanks Tim. And I agree, in retrospect some angles are less than perfect. But in my defense, I just don't see how this screenshot has a 9 rating, when mine get 6's. http://apg.pacificairways.net/ss/display.php?id=8076 He's at like 1000ft with his gear up! And not to be critical, but what the hell.....
