Two years ago was almost a done deal, but at last, Continental pull out, but this time, it appears as a done business.
Me too, if truly happens, we will miss Continental delivery, keeping in mind that in PTY Continental is a regular customer, and mine airline for going to US.

Re: SriLankan A340-300 no panel
It could be a suitable solution, but that panel is somekind of old. I use a drastic solution, I got a A340 FSX panel from a friend, and place it on my A340, it seems like it is working so far, but hasn´t tested deeply, so, I´m not aware really if it is working properly. I´ll drop a line ahead to con...

Re: Schumacher Back in F1
I my humble opinion, doesn't make sense to hire a driver for a period of time (paying big bucks), and then, let you go (but not for another team, or even in F1, as for Kimmi, or keep you as "advisor", like Schummi), which in both cases, Ferrari has to pay them, and not for what was hired at the begi...

Re: Schumacher Back in F1
As time changes, I think fans should too. I was a Ferrari follower till Schummi got back, mainly for that reason, but, because the management in Ferrari is in a down spiral, remember a few years back how Schummi was force to retired, to make space for Kimmi (nothing against him), one thing in mind, ...

Taking in consideration that Dubai has one of the smallest oil reserves between OPEP countries, is the main reason to bet it´s future as a business, investors, tourism country. Surely, isn´t the end of the world, but it will hurt.

Re: BA and Iberia merger
What I expect is KMIA to be use as a second port to/from flights from Europe. At the beginning it sounds to be a good move, but be aware, to what happen to the big auto makers, they grow so big, that at the end, their own size kill them. Hope this is not the case, but they have the odds against them.

In this moment, I think, Iberia is no position to hold back that merger, their last report shows losses, so, they need this merger more than BA.
