Wow, RDU-CDG?!? That's a year too late for me, but I really could have used that! That's awesome!
Now, in all practicality, I wouldn't expect it to last long, but it's cool nonetheless.

It wouldn't work on a large scale... you need the ATC in high-traffic areas, that's why it exists. Really, people modifying their driving habits in this manner would have a larger impact, but it's nice to see an airline doing something.

I'll fly in (maybe into the new terminal?) before Christmas. If I go through the new one, I'll take pics for you guys! It looked nearly done when I saw it in July.

Re: $1 million
I'd invest some, buy a couple nice things and give the rest away. I just have little use for money... I hardly know what to do with what I have now so I just save it for some undetermined respectable use many years in the future. (Like buying a house)

Well, depends, if you count the combined airline as being Northwest (which, technically, it is) then yes, they will be.

Re: Any pets?
1 dog (Cairn Terrier, turning 6 this year)
1 guinea pig
many cannibal fish (I've just stopped restocking the tank... we'll start over when those guys die off)
It's worth mentioning that all of these are at my parents' house... I'm off at college so I don't have any pets with me.

means that the Cargoline of Aeroflot will not open at Simairline.net?
We used to offer cargo divisions of our airlines but stopped. Why?
Too few pilots flew the routes (sometimes fewer than once a month)
Cargo schedules were often hard to find, outdated or inaccurate
We only lost one ...

Yes, I've seen people ask if they should still file a flight where they arrive 30 minutes before scheduled time. So, yes, big differences between actual and scheduled arrival times and what (if any) is too big.

Re: Alitalia succumbs to the inevitable, files for bankruptcy
So, hypocrisy is the name of the game. You fight a merger that would cut a portion of the jobs (ok, it would be substantial) and win, only to lose all jobs when the airline goes under.

It looks great!
One suggestion:
Is my flight too early/late to file?
We've had people come on the forums to ask that before, so it might deserve a mention.

Re: Luton Airport introduces £1 baggage trolley charge
I'm a bit late posting this, but funny thing:
In Europe, you have to have a coin to get a shopping cart (although you get it back), but baggage carts at most airports are free.
In the US, shopping carts are always free, but you pay for baggage carts.
Odd, isn't it?
