Excellent job, Ali.
Finally my logbook will have created itself, with a little help.
No longer will I have the task ahead of manually adding my old SimAirline flights.
Thanks!

Re: Where are You on your Logbook
Ah yes, lucky peeps flying abroad.
All I get this year is the usual trans-Tasman to Australia, with the hope next year will be a trip to Canada and northern US.
Nothing will ever be a great as flying my own aircraft though

Anyone have the POSKY 737 Panel?
I haven't flown the 737-700/800 in a while, because I lost my panel for it.
I used the panel that Project Opensky released when they first made the 737 NG's.
Apparently the designer of that panel left, and took the panel away with him.
Surely someone must still have the panel?
If so, could you ...

Re: My First Solo
Strange, I had 7 circuit lessons (only 4 before I was ready to solo, but weather held me up).
Most of my lessons were 0.4-0.7 in length though.
Thanks a lot, Josh!
The left-turn tendency is a pain when you're up solo, especially on takeoff and climb-out.

Congratz :) :) :)
7.5 is too little...but seems things are different from where I learnt to fly.
Thanks!
And yeah, it does seem early, but at least I can progress instead of doing endless circuits with my instructor.
Decker, good luck with the checkride!

Thanks guys!
Yeah, 7 to 8 hours is quite early, considering my instructor said I was ready at 6.9 hours, but my aircraft's radio stopped working just prior to him getting out.

My First Solo
On Friday I did my first solo flight at my local aero club, Omaka.
I did one full circuit without going around or making any mistakes, it was textbook!
After just 7.5 flight hours, I think I am doing really well.
Moments before touchdown on grass runway 30
After shutdown

Re: Pacific Airways
You've sure got some nice sceneries installed!
I have nothing more than default for everything, excepting I have great replacement generic textures.
Just hate that livery, Pacific Airways, it looks like a child designed it.
Is it your new VA?
I'm currently on the waiting list for VPA - noticed ...

So it was all good when you did your pre-flight, but when you had taxied a while, it just blew/deflated?

What was your check ride for?
I once did a circuit with one of the main wheels quite soft, and it made it trickier to handle at speed.
Couldn't imagine how bad it would be for it to blow completely!

That's shocking that CO would do that, to run such a risk with the safety.
Do you know more details about the actual fault?
I would never continue flying if there was a fault with my aircraft, even just a little PA Tomahawk.

Re: Logbook Exporting
It'd be great to have an export of the Logbooks.
I have my own great logbook in Word with a big table that I keep updated, but it's only all my non-SimAirline flights. Too many to put over manually.
Never managed to get Excel to do what I wanted with the logbook and inserting pretty logos.

Re: United/Continental merger
Yeah, those rendition logos and graphics do no justice to either livery.
I thought, as with DL/NW, the namesake leader (UA) would retain all of it's own liveries and logos, not use a stuck-together version of both.

Can I get more than 2GB RAM into a dual-slot DDR1? I currently have 2x 1GB. Don't know if they make 2GB chipsets for DDR1.

I use the 2D Basic clouds in FS, instead of REX's 3D beauties.
But I still get to enjoy all the other improvements that REX has, including the HD 2D cirrus clouds.
Can't get their weather engine to work though...

Re: World Of AI- Missing Callsigns
Do you have EditVoicePack?
If that doesn't fix the problem, download the callsign from Avsim or FlightSim.
Sometimes the Identifier in the Aircraft.cfg for that specific AI doesn't match the VoicePack file, so change the Aircraft.cfg to match it.

Then why did you make it small in the first place?flyingking12093 wrote:yeah that's the one thing I regret not doing.
It is quite a nice shot, as you've got some terminal and traffic in the shot as well as a good focus on the 747 with the "biggest" livery ever.
