Thank you, Aaron for your all hard work in making this a successful VA for all these years. Also thanks to the rest of management. I am going to miss Simairline after 10+ years of flying for Aaron. Re: Where do you plan on going after closing?

I fly for Southwest Virtual out of the MDW Hub and here is the link if you are interested http://www.virtualswa.com/ I have flown with them for approx. 9 years, a great group of pilots. We use ACARS program for filing PIREPS. Also very active forum.

Re: aircraft.cfg

Try moving the file to the desktop and make the changes there. Then move the file back to your aircraft folder. That is how I have to do it with Vista.

Re: Flight simulator and 64-bit Windows XP

I am using Vista with a 64-bit system. I am using FS2004 and PMDG runs on it with no problems so far. I also have a lot of addon scenery. I know for my system I run everything as administrator to install. Sometimes you have to unzip and make file changes on the desktop. Also you have to run FS and a...

Re: Problems with graphics in FSX on Vista

I am running FS9 on Vista. The only thing that I found that helps temporarily is adjusting the MIP mapping and then it is fi...

You are going to the right website. I had a problem several months ago and went to the website and downloaded the current timetable. Now everything works ok when I update.

Re: PIREP Strictness

ACARS calculates your fuel usage and flight time automatically. It is real easy to use, you fill out some of the same info as when you fly online. I think in the long run you will have more PIREPS filed correctly with ACARS. When you complete your flight, you accept the flight and send the log and y...

Re: Arriving too early

Martijn, your arrival time will usually be different than what is posted in the schedule. Airlines have delays built in the length of the flight, the weather, flying at a different altitude than the real world route and etc. are only a few of the reasons your arrival time could and will be different...

Try this link http://rfinder.asalink.net/free/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; You can create your own flight plan. They are using navigation database for cycle 0812. Just type your dept. and arriving airports.
