Re: Which is teh best B757 payware

The price issue with PMDG has been discussed before, it's because their products are so freakin' realistic the airlines themselves buy them. ANYWAYS, I agree that the PSS 757 is the best, however I don't really agree on the merge. I fly exclusively out of the VC so I "endure" the model to get a more...

Re: Where are You on your Logbook

Just landed in SLC after a 2 hour early-morning hop from LAX, DL1172 in the 757. Took some interesting sunrise pics which will probably make their way here.

Re: Continental 1404 runs off of the runway at KDEN

Wow, the fuselage is nearly torn in two! I can't imagine what that must have been like to experience first-hand. It's amazing to me that everyone got out alive. Still curious as to the cause, though...

Re: Continental 1404 runs off of the runway at KDEN

Yeah i just heard about this about an hour ago. I haven't seen the news on it but it didn't look pretty. I'm wondering if he ran off the end or off the side, it didn't really say did it?

Re: School Projects, Who Needs Them?

For my Aviation Tech class (aka ground school through the high school) we recently picked airports of our choice to construct scale models of. Our presentations included basic airfield info, class, layout, benefits, noise abatement, traffic, markings, etc. It was probably the only project I actually...

Re: DAL66 Autoland Approach into Zurich

Great Shots! but theres on little mistake in your AFCAD! Helvetic Fokkers dont park at the Gates E. They park where the Swiss Jumbolinos(RJ-100) park. Well, considering I don't fly to Zurich all too often, I really didn't see it as a big problem, as long as the traffic was there and moving . Thanks...

DAL66 Autoland Approach into Zurich

I had a lot of "fun" managing this approach into Zurich, Switzerland, so I'd thought I'd share some pics with you guys. Cloudy skies ahead as we start our descent after a long trek across the Atlantic. http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r105/jaronamo70/Delta%2066%20FS9/Scrshot47.jpg Last s...

Re: Delta's First 744 by Dec. 12!

I think it looks quite good. Delta's new livery took a while to grow on me, but overall I think it's a very sharp design, and it suites the 747 very nicely.

Re: Where are You on your Logbook

Currently sitting in Zurich after a nice, zero-visibility, autoland approach in the 767. I've never actually used autoland before, so it was kind of neat to see how it functions (and a little nerve-wracking at the same time!) 8)

Re: Where are You on your Logbook

Currently 3 hours into DAL66, Atlanta-Zurich, LDS 767-300ER. I plan on leaving it on pause and continuing tomorrow, as having the thing stuck on autopilot while I sleep doesn't sit well with me.
