what the heck is slowing down flight simulator?
Hey, so when I 1st put my comp together and installed FS9 and my usual addons, i could get 60+ FPS easy with a quality payware plane and fairly decent scenery (no trafficpackage but default traffic set to 100%) and all graphic settings maxed out. But after I added an internet conection (with AVG 9 P...

Re: Engine one only responds to throttle.
Thanks for the help guys! I will try out your suggestions when I get back home.#
@RatherBFlyin
Im not to fussed about making each engine run on each throttle lever, just so one controls all of them and not just engine 1

Re: SLi?
It is possible to do that, although it is recommended that both cards are identical in every way. In the same way that you can SLi 2 different 8*** cards, and have them both run at the slowest card's speed. Are both these cards you are looking at the same speed (ie without factory overclocks)? I ha...

Re: New computer system
That sounds good. A few remarks: - If you are going for an E8*** processor, go for the E8400 or even the E8200. They are basically the same processor but Intel clock them at different speeds. If you are planning on overclocking (which you should be if you are getting that processor), an E8200 has b...

It could be time to wipe the HDD and reinstall windows, it might save alot of headaches. Make sure you have all your important data backed up so if the worst happens, then theres no worries.

Neither. Microsoft doesn't produce FS9 anymore, let alone previous versions. But Office Max doesn't have this simulator laying around. It's with other CD games that aren't produced anymore. Did I mention it's the professional version? :laugh: I can pick up FS98 in poundland, a cookie for anyone who...

Given Ryanairs strange cost cutting schemes, and hidden charges, I think Ryanair wont be happy until the fees are down to half a crown... (or 30p)Aaron Robinson wrote:http://www.atwonline.com/news/story.html?storyID=17570
According to Manchester Airport, the fees in question are £3 ($5) per passenger.
