Re: United/Continental merger

Thanks for the pic Dennis. I believe that may be my next repaint
On the merger, I have no real gripes, except that I just hate to see the
Continental name go away. I also like their tail. As far as CO font, they
could have picked something better.
But as we all know - Money talks....

Re: United/Continental merger

They have been close before, so I guess we'll just have to wait n see.
I would hate to see the Continental name disappear regardless of what
they decide.

Re: Where do you plan on going after closing?

The link to the list is broken in the news letter that I recieved. Don't know if they'll fix it. :( I believe that I'll just keep flyin' as if SimAirlines was still open and put my flights on my Flight Memory pages. (free) Flight Memory also maps your flights! Virtual Airline Link

There was a link in Viewpoint that was to direct to a list of VA's but
the link comes back as "404 ERROR".
Will that link be fixed? or is there another location for it?

Any1 stayng w/ SimAirlines flights?

Flt's. AirSource = Humanitarian Flt's. MaxFreight = Part 135 Cargo Flt's. I was considering another VA ...

I'm gonna return to my home arpt. KSRQ-Sarasota/Bradenton,Fl. from where my 1st. flt. 2 years ago originated.
I'll just park there until I figure out if I want to join another VA or just Freelance using the same rules as we do

Add the link and warning.
Just because a "Warning" pops up doesn't mean that there's an actual problem with the site.
Sometimes it's one of the advertisements on the site.

Re: Past timetables

That's exactly it. Some rte's. are only done seasonally and I also like to fly the airlines that are no longer "alive" in real life but I still like to do. (Midway,PanAm etc..) When SimAir closes, I intend to keep flyin' as if we were still open, instead of looking for a replacement. I am with 2 oth...
