Wanna buy your own A320?

It's got some water damage, and the engines don't come with it, but if you got the dough, it's yours!

Re: DLH3041

That is actually the -500, which if I remember correctly is the shortest of the 737 family. Wow. I never knew that. I just assumed that -300 was the shortest and the -500 was the longest. Don't just assume the larger the number, the larger the plane. From Smallest to Largest: 737-100 - 94 ft. 737-2...

Re: DLH3041

What are your AA settings on? With the graphics a bit smoother it would have improved both shots. Even if it means turning cloud cover down slightly to have full AA. I suppose it depends on what your preference is. I prefer visuals even if it means a small drop in performance. I think it's just Pho...

Re: Flying Milestone for me

Having five planes in the traffic pattern at KBVI isn't unheard of When I call up approach, I was taught to keep things short and sweet - "Pittsburgh Approach, Cessna 984BT". If it's from a handoff, they'll give the usual spiel ("radar contact three miles north of Beaver County Airpor...

I thoroughly enjoy what Keith Olbermann said about Robertson and Limbaugh: m Really took it to them and called them out. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! That made my day. Go die under a rock Limbaugh and Robertson. HATE them. Well I like Limbaugh but hate Olbermann and Robertson, so how 'bout we just settle on Pa...

Selling Some Safety Cards

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... K:MEUSX:IT

Auction was a dud. Each card will be $3 plus shipping, or $10 for the lot, or best offer.

  • Frontier A318/19 - Good
  • Northwest DC-9-30/40/50 - Excellent
  • American S80 (MD-80) - Poor
  • Continental Express ERJ - Good

Photos are in the link.

Re: Haiti disaster and other comments

As a Christian, I find Pat Robertson a disgrace to Christianity. All he does in the media is give reasons to people to think Christians are cold-blooded beings with no soul or compassion and just walking around judging people like it's their job. It disgusts me to no end how this guy does nothing bu...

Re: Flying Milestone for me

There's a fee for kissin' PIT. I think it's $20, so no bouncing! :smokin:

Usually, us curious GA bums do an approach and then go around. Tower experience is no problem for us as BVI is a towered airport (and we own it; terminal ATC students go there to aid in the aeronautical embarrassments we cause daily).

Re: Flying Milestone for me

Beaver County Airport can get as busy as an international airport sometimes One of these days, we'll head off to PIT, which would be even more exciting for me because I can finally see my house and be slow enough to actually point it out for once! Until then, the only airport I've flown into with ai...

Re: Whom do you want to see win the Super Bowl?

Hmm, toughy... I wouldn't mind seeing the Cardinals or the Colts win. Cardinals haven't won a Super Bowl yet, and they deserve it. And the Colts are a pretty good team as well - both athletically and morally. But since the Colts have won several times already, I'll go for the Cardinals. Whom do I NO...

Re: Any aviation presents out there?

Well.....Christmas is over, so.... did anyone get anything aviation related? Or worth sharing? This was a cash Christmas for me but I did buy a few things on eBay over the past week. Northwest 747-400 safety card (new) And the following timetables to help continue flying in the 90s when 762s, D10s,...
