Re: StartupBoeing

I've checked it out briefly in the past, but never look too far into it. This is the first I've seen all the various topics like aircraft sourcing, biz planning, etc. Thanks for the link Aaron, it should be a good read!

Re: Where do you plan on going after closing?

Didn't think I'd be going anywhere, but I thought I'd do some flying before I go back to school. I've joined back up with MetroAir Virtual, a fictionally based, but highly-realistic VA. I flew with them a bit back in 2007, and had enough fun that I'm going back. They were actually co-founded by Tom ...

The three holers are the KC-10. The KC-135 is the modified 707.
Yeah yeah, it was a brain fart

Re: United/Continental merger

http://www.unitedcontinentalmerger.com/ The website (and I suspect, the forthcoming integration process) is very similar to Delta-Northwest... Agreed. And that combined routemap is terrible. My first thought when viewing the site: I like the idea of using the United name with the Continental aesthe...

Been a Good Ride

Well, it just turned midnight here on the East Coast (I actually just realized PIREPs were supposed to be in at 2359 GMT , not EST. Oops... Hopefully you'll understand Aaron. If not that's fine). Anyways, in order to make up for lost time, I've been jetting HARD across the skies lately. All ...

Re: Looks like a great summer

Congrats Dennis! Definitely go for it too. I got to Northeastern Univ. which is built around the co-op, which are basically internships. I'm currently on mine, and I've heard nothing but positives from people in the workplace about this, and how important work experience is before you go out to star...

Re: Real environment!!!

I'm running a dual core at 4GHz and 4GB RAM, and I can't tell a difference when up at cruising altitude or on the ground. The only time when the framerates drop from where they are capped is when I fly directly through the clouds, although that only happens twice on a single flight for a few minute...

Re: Last flights for simairline

I'm planning mine to be the return (or actually outbound) flight of my first flight on SimAirline.net Swissair ZRH-CAI...my first was CAI-ZRH I'm currently in Zurich, so, if I got time this month, which I really hope so, I'll try to fly around Europe a bit in my A320 :D And so I did, could only fly...

Re: Top 5 Cruise Lines

I would recommend Alaska, but why take a cruise right where you live? Caribbean cruises are always fun. I've wanted to go either on an Alaskan cruise or an European cruise. I've taken the same route on Adventure of the Seas: Aruba, Curacao, St. Maarten, St. Thomas. Seven day cruise for $300-$500......
