Re: Uninstalling WOAI

I can't think of anything else. Have you tried the WOAI forums?

Re: Uninstalling WOAI

Hmmm. That is puzzling. Even though you are admin, you still need to right click and run as admin to get elevated privildges. Also, try installing a few packages at a time. Just do a mulitple select when you choose the packages to install and it should do a batch installation. After I downloaded all...

Re: Uninstalling WOAI

Hmm. This may be obvious, but try running in admin mode and turning UAC off. I'm using version 2.04, with the FS2004 path set as: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\

I can't see what else could be the problem. Corrupt packages maybe?

Re: 2008 BA Boeing 777 Heathrow crash: Air traffic control

I was listening to that earlier. I'm interested as to what aircraft type Speedbird 479 was, which was asked to change to a visual 27R approach. Is this a normal occurrence to fly big jets on a visual approach?

Re: Uninstalling WOAI

I did the exact same thing when I reformatted my drive and installed Windows. I downloaded every WOAI package (all 500+ of them) and installed them in small batches. I did not have an issue with the installer and I use 64-bit Windows. I think I selected the main FS9 folder once, then it knew where t...

Re: First HA A332

Sad why? Odd why? If you're referring to the Boeing aspect, Hawaiian has only flown Boeing for nine years. In contrast, Douglas was in for over 60. In the larger scheme, Boeings at Hawaiian are an oddity. 9 years may not seem long in the aviation world, but for me I have only ever known Hawaiian fl...

Nice! It will be odd to see an Airbus in Hawaiian colours, but it should look good.

Re: Looking for these WOAI Packages

Certain packages have been removed from the website due to certain people retracting consent for their models to be used. I don't know if they are the packages you listed, but all the other packages that are currently available are listed on their website.

^Yes, I absolutely love that shot! I also like this one http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h9/flypaul/ba3-8.jpg

Very eerie colours coming from the fuselage.

4 different keys maybe? CTRL, A, C and V? Although with that logic you could say that you typed the complete work of Shapespeare with 26 keys.

Re: Decisions, decisions

Hmm... the iPad looks like a big Touch to me. I'll have to see what they're like when they come out. As for getting something right now, I'd go for a controller of some sort. If you can get the Saitek yoke with rudder pedals and also another throttle quadrant. If you have enough spare money, definit...

Re: Aircraft partnership anyone??

It would be fun to fly that thing to a quiet airport and then five minutes later have your friend turn up in the other Su-27. See how the ATC react.

Re: New setup choices. What do you think?

What stick setup have you got at the moment? I was gaming on a really poor Trust joystick, and decided to buy the Saitek Pro X-52 stick. It made a huge difference to my overall flight simulator experience. The yoke should provide an even more realistic FS experience. Track IR does look very good, an...

I don't think Aaron will take kindly if you try and log that as a flight. Currently in Mexico City, looking to take a Martinair MD-11F across (or should I say up) to Quito. Not quite sure whether they still serve out of Mexico City. The Martinair Cargo website does not list this flight but th...

Sounds interesting. Is there any reason you are running X-Plane on it? I am not criticising this, only asking what puts X-Plane ahead of any other flight simulator program (ie. better simulation, ability to program it etc.).

Re: What OS is everyone running these days?

I have been running Windows 7 since it came out and love it. I don't need to run many legacy programs or do any programming, so Windows 7 is great for me. Much quicker than Vista, yet familiar. I did not like the way it groups similar programs at the bottom, so I reverted back to the tried and trust...
