Re: Hawaiian Air

I like your screenshots, but what a ugly aircraft  I think it's more the editing he's done that makes it uglier. The DH7 isn't too bad, but here there's carbon all over the wings, and heat blur. Put all that together with shading and midtone adjustments and you can start to make it look worse....

Re: Delta Skyteam 757

I downloaded it and the repaint is exceptional, however I still think that a 77W painted in the SkyTeam livery looks much better. Both AF and KL have them now.

Re: Aircraft parking at Airports

The reason why not all of our airports have the new terminal maps is mainly due to lack of data about where the airlines park. However, I don't know how you got to the AA terminal, because our current JFK map clearly points out the DL terminals. At JFK you won't have too much trouble, as most heavy ...

Lufthansa A340-300 by POSKY

I was just hoping that someone has this file: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=51955
The file on Avsim at present was corrupted by the hack and doesn't download all the contents.
If someone has it, could you please send me a copy by e-mail? It would be appreciated greatly.

Re: Hawaiian Air

This is some shots of my most recent flight. Sorry about the bad quality. There weren't any great shots. And no landing shots. Wasn't too good. Aaron please consider these for the gallery Why would you wish them to be added to the gallery if you don't have any faith in their quality? You should con...

Re: H1N1 testing?

Well that's the thing. If I stay home for a week or however I am out. I can kiss my grades, my graduation year goodbye. I will have to make up so much stuff for being gone. I just don't want to miss that. Everyday I get around 3 hours of homework, I will practically be on lockdown in my own house, ...

Arrived in Rome Fiumicino after CO40 from Newark in the 767-400.

Preparing now for NH1212 to Osaka Kansai in the retired ANA 747-200.
First time for me flying the v4 series 747's from POSKY, should be interesting.

:rolling: :rolling: :rolling: Firstly, CALM DOWN! I have had H1N1 (Swine flu), I was diagnosed by my doctor. I had to stay home and rest for just over a week and I was fine after that. H1N1 at present only poses a threat to people who are already weakened by respiratory illnesses or the like (such a...

Re: NWA 742

Great shots of the 742! I always love the red-top NW livery, especially on the 742. I think the sunset shots would be better without the lens-flare effect; it blocks off the subject, the aircraft. I didn't know NW flew the 747 to BOS... the two last shots have been over-edited IMO, they look too sat...

Re: B1900-D Freeware

I agree that model doesn't look that great, but it's probably the best bet besides PMDG or HTAI.
What about the Mike Stone model, how does that stack up?

I never fly the 19D, even if it's the most frequent visitor to my home airport with Air New Zealand Link.

I agree that livery is nice... very different.

It would be nice if there wasn't so much snow obscuring the aircraft.
A blizzard really isn't great for taking pictures in.

It just looks like you paused the aircraft upon touchdown, moved the view around the aircraft and took shots from different angles but with the aircraft in the same place.

Re: Delta Boeing 737-700

As everyone has mentioned, we need some additional details. What is your airspeed over the threshold? What flap setting are you using? What runway are landing on and what are the winds? Where on the runway do you touchdown (approximately)? Also, the aircraft model might help  For all we know...

Re: Going historical! AC/DL/FX/NW and YX!

It could very well be that the aircraft arrived in the morning and will depart in the evening, and this shot is early afternoon, right before transatlantic arrivals. Many airlines remote park there for several hours. Sure, but how can Nick's FS simulate that? Usually your AI can only go somewhere a...

Re: Going historical! AC/DL/FX/NW and YX!

Wow, Nick! What JFK scenery is that, payware? How come the aircraft are parked at T4 remote stands and the terminal is empty? Can your simulator simulate them parking remotely and then moving to the terminal prior to departure? That's one realistic shot of JFK in FS. What frame-rates would you get o...

Re: BA2494 EGKK/LXGB

Aaron, I believe that when both runways operated, there was cause for dual hold-short limits, one facing each way. Aircraft leaving the main runway may have to hold short of the second runway. The same applies for aircraft taxiing the other way. My AFCAD from a couple of years ago still has these ma...
