I thought the hub was Subic Bay in Philippines. Perhaps they recently moved to CAN with the new airport being built?

Default FS9 Aerial Photos

About a year ago, I deleted the scenery areas in the FS scenery settings which covered the aerial photos of the major cities. Now, I want them back! :( I looked in the folder, and the textures are still there. It's only that the files aren't linked to the simulator operation. Does anyone know what f...

Re: KLM A332

Is it me, or are you climbing at a huge angle of attack? Any more and you would've stalled! Nice shots though. I agree. Despite the angle, this departure has rather a steep attack angle. Perhaps he is lightly loaded and powering out fast? Or maybe a slow airspeed is preventing a moderate climb rate...

David's right.
The model should never affect the zoom or views.

If anything, the aircraft's physical length and wingspan are often constraints to getting the full frame.

Re: KLM A330-203 EHAM

Here's a tip if you want focus on the aircraft, but still having a wide view of the scenery:
Use the Views menu toolbox to adjust the camera position about 150ft closer to the aircraft then zoom out so the aircraft fills the screen well.

Re: Can someone make me a sig?

Can anyone make me an Air France or an All Nippon airways sig please? Surely you must have noticed that Air France is not an airline of SimAirline.net, but only their Concorde operations? So you can't have a banner that represents other AF aircraft. Also, most guys around here who make banners pref...

Re: BA502 EGLL/LPPT

Yes I want to change, but now that Avsim was down, when I tried to download AI aircraft, schedules or liveries, it's pretty difficult. You download the planes, but there are no liveries, or vice versa. Do you have a suggestion where to download AI? I'll appreciate your suggestion. World of AI: http...

Re: ATC Callsign

It's because FS only recognises the 'official' spelling of the British Airways callsign and I never remember which one it is! Either Speedbird or Speed Bird works. (I think it's Speed Bird but not entirely sure, it's been a while since I flew BA) The best way if you're unsure, is to open Edit Voice...

Yeah, I can see. I'd just go with the default terrain.

Hmm, what's that weird A340 airline you got there?

REX? Is that a new version of RE Pro? I'm excited now! Haha.

Just got my new video card installed today, and it makes everything seem so basic now.

Re: FS Times Skip Ahead

Not on the default panels. If you cross a time-zone and the time skips ahead 1-hr, the timer records an extra hour also.
Only the FS logbook records time from the beginning to end of a flight (including time compressions).

Re: FS Times Skip Ahead

I wind up recording the departure time, using the stopwatch inside the cockpit (CHR or clock), that way you can include time compression. In FS9, the times are usually correct, maybe a bit slower or an hour off in the time zone. I haven't run into many problems with the default timer though. But th...

Re: AI Regional Traffic

You're looking for a single package with all the US regional airlines in it? So you don't have to get them individually?
I can tell you now, that doesn't exist.

The packages are all there, on the website: http://world-of-ai.com/allpackagestxt.php

Re: Random and Various Screen shots

Those are nice shots you took over the US with that sunset. Next time, turn off the aircraft labels before taking the shot.

LGA handles 767-400's, so a fully laden MD80 should be too bad.

Haha, I laughed when I saw those boxes on the LHR runway. Silly sceneries.

I do like the shots a CUN.

Re: AI Regional Traffic

Why don't world of AI do Regional Traffic I.E American Eagle , Delta Connect etc.? It is a case of too much work, then filling up the screen so much that it slows down flight sim? Actually, I find it hard to think of a regional airline that WoAI haven't made. WoAI have made so many regional airline...

Re: FS Times Skip Ahead

Thanks guys.

I'll look into that FSTimer, but if FS Real Time works, then I won't worry.

I'm going to visit the bank today anyway, so I'll ask them about the fees.

It's not just that restarting business with FS Real Time, but the nag message on the screen is impossible to deal with.

Finished NH205 last night, NRT-CDG.

Currently at FL380 south of England on CO57 CDG-EWR in the 767-400ER.

Just trying to fill in time while I wait for 23 Oct for the final ANA 747-400 international flight, which is CDG-NRT.

Re: FS Times Skip Ahead

So I now have FS Real Time (thanks for that heads-up, Tim  ), however it requires registration to make it function fully. I began flying, but it said it expired and had to close. It didn't work properly unless it's started before FS is opened, so I wasn't going to forfeit my flight for that. S...
