Re: Screenshots Contest (2009, No. 11)

And Aaron, referring to my Continental Screenshot, those lines were in the flight simulator for some reason, they weren't jpg lines. Any idea how to fix this anyone? It was a sunset, by the way. David, my sunsets also do that sometimes. What addon do you have for sun and sky textures? I've got Real...

Re: Screenshots Contest (2009, No. 11)

My vote went to David's VS 747 over the Atlantic. http://www.simairline.net/screenshots/5063s.gif It's clean and bright and outlines the aircraft well. Unlike most shots, it goes without showing custom scenery. The aircraft and cloud qualities are superb. I also liked the BA 747 over Canada. The KL ...

FS Times Skip Ahead

Recently I flew NRT-CDG in the 747 on ANA flight 205. I left at 1120 local time and was supposed to arrive in Paris at 1640 local. However, I actually arrived at 2240. That's a whopping 6 hours late! Now thankfully the FS Logbook system keeps an accurate record of the flight duration so I could calc...

Re: fs2004 camera

I use Office 2007's OneNote. You just press Windows+S and it puts the shot in a document to be exported to the desktop etc. I'm sure there are other programs alike.

Re: Destination of the Week - Harare, Zimbabwe

It certainly has an oversized runway! Although JNB's runway is very long, you use a lot of it when taking off a fully laden 747.
I think Harare's climate is similar to that of the Transvaal by the sound of it. Once you acclimatise to the altitude, it's great there.

Excellent report, Tom.

Re: fs2004 camera

I don't get it... How can you have a Camera inside a computer?

Perhaps you are looking for a program which increases the functions of screenshots, such as a Screenshot Manager?

Re: fs2004 camera

Hi guys. I just change back to FS2004 and it doesn't have a camera like FSX. Can someone tell me of a good camera to use with fs2004? Thanks in advance for your reply. What do you mean "Camera"? FS9 simply has views that you can change, and I can't imagine how you can't achieve any view possible. D...

Hey I've been trying to fly the Tu-144 and It's fun in all but... Whenever I fly it and I'm parked or anything. It just starts to pull back until it's as far back as it is possible like this... http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/flyingking12093/fs92008-12-3116-24-40-71.jpg Is there anyway tha...

Re: SIA A380 gate at LFPG

Sam the reason I use a smaller radius is to stop all the 747, 777, 340, 330 from parking there if all their other gates are full. It forces them to park at the remote stands instead of giving them a chance to park where my A380 is supposed to park. I know this means that these gates are empty most ...

Garyck wrote:Sorry to hi-jack this thread. How do you update an AFCAD to get aircraft to the correct gates?
To begin, you need AFCAD program http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=46238.
Open the airport in question, click a parking locator node, then enter the ICAO code of the airline. Save.

Re: SIA A380 gate at LFPG

I give the aircraft it's own three letter code (ex: 380 or S38instead of SIA) and make the parking smaller than the parking radius of the heavy jets which is 51 meters ( A340, B747,B777 A330) and bigger than the Parking radius for Medium size jets whisch is 35 meters ( B767,B757). the parking radiu...

Haha, I'm surprised Jacob didn't notice it himself.

It looks good. Those curved lines through the name remind my of the fuselage frames when there's snow on the aircraft; nice.

Notice the seller's username and compare it with Andrew's
I never clicked on the link, as Ebay sites take ages to load on my Dial-Up.

Andy, how much are you selling it for? I know they're around 200 USD new.

But it's silver! At least do a bare metal like AA, but not silver paint!

Is that display supposed to be a joke?

It's a damned wooden 2D shape of a NW 747!
But Delta get the real thing, a 767 parked in the hangar.

Shame on you, Delta.
