True. Aircraft hit bad turbulence all the time, and sometimes people get hurt, it's just not reported.

Re: Continental jet makes emergency landing

Goddamn it, I hate it when people sue for these sorts of things. As much as I love some heavy turbulence and a rough ride for a bit, I always take the safety of my seatbelt. After all, planes haven't got airbags. I can't imagine how the passengers on this flight didn't have theirs on. Maybe there w...

Must have been a tough and hard landing. Five tires? Ouch.
He must of hit hard for that many tires to explode. I would guess he probably hit a bit of turbulence on short final.

A380 Makes Extremely Hard Landing At Oskosh 2009

The pilot made this extremely rough landing in a direct crosswind. The narrator did make some very rude comments, but I would to if I was the Boeing 777 pilot that witnessed the first landing of an A380 at the largest airshow in the US!

How is the Cali fires affecting your home airport?

Hey, I just wanted to see how all of your home airports are being affected by the CDF's and other contracted aircraft that are fighting the California fires affecting traffic there. At FAT, since we have a CDF retartdent reload and aircraft refuel base here, we are getting a lot of Grumman Turbo Tra...

And what is the direct link in Photobucket? Click on one of your current links. On the left there should be a 'share this image' section. When you post a screenshot, use the direct link option of those 4. It will leave out all the extras and just show the pic. Ohh ok, I see it. Thanks I'll try to p...
