Re: Interesting Routings?
Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but I saw David's posts on the El-Al routes (well, I have seen it dozens of times but the question came today). I think it is possible to load them to FS, right? And if so, how will I fly them? (GPS, VOR, etc.)

Re: ACT Standardized Test
Well, we never opened the test's plastic cover so it's as if we never actually took it. It's like a movie. Once opened, it's non refundable.caps1237 wrote:Lucky LUCKY. Re: ACT Standardized Test
Yeah that makes sense. The SATs are owned by College Board, so what you call College Board is probably very similar to the SATs in fact.
It follows the same approach as SATs. They're from College Board, but these tests are in Spanish (except the English part, of course) and we don't...

Re: ACT Standardized Test
So, ACTs are an equivalent of SATs...right? What we take we call by default the College Board. SATs are necessary only if you intend to apply to a US college or abroad.

ATC training
I figured that if I can't be in the skies, I might as well be in a tower directing traffic. The question is, does the FAA train people to become ATCs? Or must they go through private (that is, go to an aviation college or school) education to get certified?

Re: Lego-mania!
Nice sculpture. I haven't seen one as impressive since someone made both Titanic and Olympic. What are the chance of it arriving intact when he ships it to the convention? I don't know but I'm the type of person that believes: "If you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself". So much can...

Thanks Dennis. And well done yourself! Just because SimAirline.net is coming to a close doesn't mean that you have to stop taking screenshots! Ah, but as each year comes, the harder and tougher college gets. I haven't launched the simulator since January. That was taken back then when I coul...

Screenshots Contest (2009, Year's best)
Just wanted to rant a little: why is it that when SimAirline.net is about to close, my screenshot gets third best of the year? I had never gotten that far before... On that note, congrats Alex. Your Hong Kong shot was amazing and well put, You too Nick. Those screenshots are enough evidenc...

Re: Last flights for simairline
Unfortunately, for me, my first flight was an ERJ flight from MCO-MIA, so I think I'll make it a bit more original by returning to my home base: SJU. And what better way to return there than from MCO? Now, if only I could get off from DME...

Re: Finnair to retire last MD-11 from fleet
I remember when AA came to SJU with MD-11s. Such a shame I never got to fly one. I will try to fly it too. I just hope I have enough money. Of course, if my parents ever found out I was flying to an airport just for flying with an airline they'd freak out.

Finnair to retire last MD-11 from fleet
This means that KLM will become the sole operator of passenger MD-11s aside from charter operators. AY is to retire them on Feb. 22. I don't know but I would like to fly on the MD-11...just have to find the right KLM flight and the money.

I SO want to go to Iceland. Definitely need to add it to my bucket list's places to go before I die.
Maybe...just maybe, for my college graduation trip, I may talk my parents into going there for a vacation (assuming nothing goes wrong and we're healthy financially speaking)

Funny...if it weren't for the fact that we know it's a 747-8, I'd swear it was an A340-600 when seen from behind.
