New Terminal Maps Coming

Post by Aaron Robinson » 28 Mar 2007, 03:56

The first of our new terminal maps, for Los Angeles, is now online. All new terminal maps will follow the new style, created by Nick Anderson.

115 of SimAirline.net's 1162 destinations currently have terminal maps, with the goal of eventual coverage for approximately 200 airports. Additional new terminal maps will be added over the coming months, with the improved design being profiled in next month's issue of Latitude.

Looks nice. Just one question. Take a look at gate 103, Tom Bradley terminal. What's that tail next to varig?

China Southern

This is great! FINALLY I know which gates the airline uses at an airport! Of course, Pan Am might be a different story for some airports...

Thanks guys !

None of SimAirline.net's airlines use Terminal 1.
The same thing will happen at other airports where you'll find terminals with no logos because none of our airlines use them.

ok, cool. Thanks nick, for a great job! Its nice to see fairly detailed terminal maps, just one other question, at LAX there are stand alone buildings with one jetway connected to them over on the west side of the airport. What are they used for?

That would be the American Eagle remote terminal. In the near future, it will be removed and replaced by a full-sized terminal: http://www.laxmasterplan.org/stakeholde ... D-2015.PDF
