R/W Flight planing

Post by kingsak » 25 May 2009, 16:28

Is it posible to get the actual real-world flt. route/plans, or are they kept secret due to security?
If available, Where would I get them?
Thanks, and I hope I posted in correct forum! 8)

Flightaware will provide routes for flights that originate or terminate at a US airport. I am unaware of any websites that provide a similar function in other areas of the world, but as you become more familiar with flying you will learn the nuances of flightplanning in other places (hint: it's not always the same as it is in the US, which is what MSFS bases its flight rules on).

In the UK and Ireland NATS publish their routes online in PDF format for free :)
