oversea flights
How do you people do long flights .Like oversea's do you sit for 7 hrs. at the computer?? I would like some input on this.

I don't know about other folks, but I do all of my flights in real time, including long hauls.
For long haul flights, I spend time reading, and surfing the internet during cruise. It really does require a lot of patience and planning, though. You need to make sure you can set aside a chunk of time long enough to complete the flight.

1. Speed up the simulator
2. Save the flight by segments
3. Leave it normal and go about your daily activities. I've left my computer on through the night and wake up to finish the flight or maybe left for a couple of hours while the flight is still on.

Make sure you save your flight periodically. Nothing like doing a 12 hour flight and having FS crash on a 15 mile final.
