Rocky Mountain Air "New look, New fleet, New Everything!"

Post by Jimmyp4 » 07 Mar 2008, 10:10

Hello
You all might remember my fictional Rocky Mountain Air from the "Your own airline" thread awhile back.

Well my friend Chris is leaving the FS world (Really sad :( ). However I got most of his payware Items: FSPassenger, Flytampa's: San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Tampa, Miami, Boston, Dubai, and Vienna ! He said he has a few more payware ad-ons for me when he gets time to burn them to disks or find the disks they came in. I fired up FSPassenger today and decided to redsign Rocky Mountain Air for better use in FSPassenger.

Current Fleet: 1 DC-3  (can't help it if my favorite planes are from the 30's) and 1 737-400 (on Lease from Landmark Airlines, soon to be purchesed from them [find out why below]). I started with the DC-3 and made a flight from COS-DEN and had fun with that, after a few shuttle flights I had enough to buy a 737. I quickly pounced at that. I made a flight from Denver INTL to Denver Centinneal  and back. My flight down to COS was differnt however....

Flight RMA058 End of flight report Date March 07 2008

To: KCOS - Colorado Springs - Usa

Incident Report:

The gear didn't locked down, but the pilot was able to lower them with touchdown. There was an exceptional pilot on board and despite the dire situation he was able to land the aircraft safely. The Captain has also declared an emergency before landing.

Company Reputation:

Considering that the flight was perfect, the tickets price low,and there was no service aboard, passengers on this flight think that your company's reputation should be 100%
Your company reputation is now: 71% (+2.89 increase)

Overall Flight Result: Perfect

Pilot Bonus points: 755 points
There was a problem aboard and you declared an emergency. (+150)
A serious problem occurred during flight but you landed safely, nice job. (+605)

There where no Pilot error points  which supprised me. By the way, this was in a blizzard so this was no easy touchdown. Plus the passengers had 7% fear just from the turbulance on approach  .

Future aircraft: One of each of the WWII Bombers from my Aircraft Powerpack Payware ad-on (I paid for this one), A PMDG 737-800 or -900, a 737-200 (any good ones out there?), a A318 baby-bus (the only airbus I like), a ford Tri-Motor, and a CRJ-200
In the far-future I might make flights to citys farther away (SFO, SAN, SEA, CHI,BOS [This IS the list of airports I will be serving when I expand]). If so I will use 777 Domestic versions (Like United). If Chris has the Level D 767 in the pack hes giving me then I will put one into service. Ah, just for the fun of it, I'll throw a 757 into the mix.

Well its 2:09AM here after spending 4 hours of FSPassenger so I better hit the sack. Hope you like my plan :winking: .

Why wouldn't it be? It's like selling it at a garage sell (except probably just handing off, so maybe more like taking it to Salvation Army or something).

Legally they're still in his name, you're just using them instead of the original user.
The legality of such an act would probably depend on how expensive your lawyer is as this is a very grey area.
