A380 at Simairline

Post by stuttgart1482 » 21 Feb 2008, 19:10

In 2008 the A380 will arrive at Simairline.net. With Emirates, Thai, Korean, Virgin Atlantic and British Airways we'll have a nice choice of A380 flights. Maybe we'll get the opportunity to fly the A380 in Lufthansa livery if LH uses the A380 on the Lufthansa Flightsim Pilots Group codeshare flights. Are You excited to fly the A380 for simairline?? If yes which might be your favourite??

I've been meaning to fly it with SQ but I'll get to it.

Hmm...I think EK, which is the first of our airlines to receive it. I already flew it with SQ, with the Abacus A380.

Yeah, I've already flown SQ380 and I have planned to do it again once I reach Singaport from London.

I am most excited to fly it under BA colours.

Oops, sorry! I added China Southern to the poll because it was missing, but it seems to have wiped all the votes to date as a result.

Also, I've moved this to Viewpoint Discussion because it ties in fairly well with the recent news item there.

I went with BA. It should look nice with the flag on the tail, and it'll be fun to fly into LHR.

Have a look at how the A380 would look in CX colours. http://www.swiremariners.com/a380fs9.jpg
It doesn't do it for me. It's got a massive forehead.

Thank goodness they've not ordered any!

I'm sure Cathay Pacific wouldn't destroy their livery like that. Fictional FS painters tend to screw up bigtime.

I can't wait to fly VS with it. Is KLAS approved for it yet?

What kind of stupid airline would operate an A380 to LAS? That's like operating a 747 from LHR to MLB...

Um EGLL to KLAS would b in its range right? Because that would be a smart route for it.

Well, I did a flightstats search, and there was no flight between LHR and LAS today. If some airline doesn't fly it daily (does BA even serve LAS at all?!), then there is NO WAY that is a good route. Try for cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, ect.

I would like to fly it in the Emirates livery. Should look nice there.

The A380 is made mainly for slot-restricted airports...

That's VS and a 744. This doesn't have a thing to do with range. Most long-haul aircraft could do LHR-LAS and I believe VS's was actually LGW-LAS.

You'd see an A380 flying JFK-LHR or LAX-LHR, but LAS? That's just silly...
