Delta 77L Delivery

Post by COA413 » 10 Mar 2008, 03:51

http://simairline.net/viewpoint/index.php?/archives/42-Delta-Begins-777-200LR-Service.html

Great to hear! Seattle-Deliveries shows Delta's next 77L (N702DN) is third in terms of Boeing 777s not delivered (looks here). Two questions, how accurate is this website? How often is it updated? Also, if the Delta 77L is third on the list, does that mean it will be delivered third?

Anyways, back on topic...what other cities will the lone DL 77L be visiting this month? I already plan to fly ATL-NRT, but what others?

http://www.airliners.net/discussions/ge ... n/3879281/
Change in plans:
Ship 7101 has been blocked for DL 16 (ATL-JFK-BOM) on 3/10:

DL 16 ATL 03/10 17:35 JFK 03/10 20:05 77B
DL 16 JFK 03/10 22:05 BOM 03/11 22:35 77B

...and will operate the return flight, DL 17, BOM-JFK-ATL on 3/12:

DL 17 BOM 03/12 0105 JFK 03/12 0800 77B
DL 17 JFK 03/12 0945 ATL 03/12 12:35 77B

It will rotate throughout the system, operating flights to NRT, ICN, TLV, DXB, and of course, BOM (until 3/30/08, when it and N702DN we be dedicated to that flight).

I don't see why not. It's a real plane flying a real flight.

Right, as soon as the aircraft enters service with the real airline you can fly it here.
If it's not on the PIREP page file it with the 777-200ER and note that it's actually the LR.

There should be no problem flying it, just make sure that the SkyTeam Timetable (or whatever TT you are using) indicated a 77L, not just a 777.

The skyteam timetable still lists DAL110 (ATL-LAX) as a 764 flight, and there aren't any updates available. Can I fly DL110 with the 77L and just note in the PIREP comments about the change in aircraft?

DL110 was operated with the 777-200LR once and that was last week.
It's now on the regular 767-400ER schedule.

None right now, it's rotating through the system. For an updated schedule please read this entire thread, it outlines where their single 777-200LR is flying these days.

Aaron put a complete list of routes the aircraft will be on until the second arrives. I believe the post is somewhere in the Viewpoint section of the boards.
