Closing Section - Like It?

Post by Aaron Robinson » 27 Jan 2010, 05:10

So far I have posted three articles in the Closing section sharing the history of SimAirline.net, but haven't heard any feedback. Do you like these articles? Do you find them interesting? Please let me know. Unfortunately, it's the lack of response or activity that has so often killed things here.

I like it! Have read it, enjoyed it, just didn't think there was too much to say.

I have enjoyed reading about the history of SimAirline before I arrived. Things are going to start sounding familiar soon. :)

I've been following your articles, and I find them fascinating.

Makes it even sadder that it's all coming to an end.

I have been finding the articles very interesting. I think it is a good way to celebrate ten years of service, and also a nice note to end on.

I didn't join SimAirline's until April 2008, so I find the articles imformative and interesting.
Keep 'em coming :)

Thank you for history. I personally have really enjoyed learning how everything came together and I wish I would have been here several years ago to partake in it.

I've definitely been reading and following along with interest, I've been here a LONG time and it's fascinating to see what was going on even before my time!

It's very interesting to see what SimAirline.net was like before I arrived and with more details than the "About us" section.

It takes me back down memorey lane. I love the screen shot from the first
year it shows how far things have advance.

I hope to make my last fligtht the same one as the first flight I made
wayyyyyyyyyyyy back in November 2000. I flew Virgin Sun from
Manchester to Tenerife. If I remember right you had to fly
50 hours in a B737 sized aircraft before you could fly the heavies,
so I picked the flight because at that time It was a fairly long flight
for the size of aircraft.

Just wanted to say, since I know Aaron likes feedback, as a former management member at SimAirline.net, I really enjoy the Wish List section of Viewpoint. Nice to see what you guys had up your sleeves for the future.

I'm with Josh, it's nice to share some of the fantastic plans we've had hidden for years.
If I get the chance, I need to write something about the Historic Northwest plan, that was great.

This section is great, Aaron.
It's interesting to see where SimAirline.net came from before I joined, and remember how it came along while I was a member.

I don't know if this was ever decided, but was there a choice on what German airline would take Air Berlin's place after that closure? Just curious.

There was not, but I'll be discussing that question in a future article. Look for it!
