But Mr. Aaron.....

Post by The Great Santini » 23 Apr 2010, 02:16

But Mr. Aaron, Mr. Aaron,

Great Lakes Airlines never had anything at all to do with the REAL Great Lakes.

The "Great Lakes" in the airline's name come from the Great Lakes area of Iowa.

Ever since Frontier opened at Sim Airline; whenever I fly a Frontier flight, I finish it off by flying one of the Great Lakes' flights.

True, the airline's name is not from the Great Lakes most of us know. But it still had plenty to do with the region after purchasing Alliance Airlines.

Mr. Aaron,

Just being silly.

My little brother worked at Cheyenne Regional, both sides, civilian and military and introduced me to Doug Voss when Great Lakes was doing the deal to move to Wyoming. I got to hear the complete history of Spirit Lake/ Great Lakes, and I do mean COMPLETE.
