One trivia submission may be made per pilot. The first correct responder for each question will be announced in the following month’s issue.

This month’s questions:
1. Airport codes in Canada are well-known for starting with Y (IATA) or CY (ICAO). One SimAirline.net destination in Canada doesn’t follow the pattern—which is it?

2. What aircraft type has the highest percentage of active aircraft flown by SimAirline.net airlines?

Clarification: type = 737, A340, etc. model = 737, A340-300, etc.

3. Between what two airports do the most SimAirline.net VAs offer nonstop service?

1. Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada !!! ZBF/CZBF
3. JFK-LHR with BA, BA Concorde, VS and PA. ( Purely a guess. )

Gotta think on number two.

1. Bathurst, NB (ZBF/CZBF).
2. A32x ? If I had to decide the model, i'd say A319.
3. LAX-HNL (CO, DL, HA, NW, PA).

Anuj, please edit your post. Only one guess is allowed. Also, note the clarification added.

Fraser, you may edit your post if you wish based on the clarification.

1.Bathurst, NB (ZBF/CZBF)
2. Boeing 737
3. Most frequencies or just the route? If it's frequencies, then JFK-LHR is the most served. If it's the route, then LAX-HNL has the most airlines serving it.

Number 2, I'm gonna put in for the A320.

I'd have to go with 737.

In my personal logbook my top three planes (with the most flights) are the 747-400, 767-300ER and A319-100, in that order.

I think the result for 2. will be surprising, as it doesn't necessarily reflect real life operations in whereby regionals are used a lot, but more that people probably prefer flying the big jets more in FS. So the 744 may be at the top.

In my logbook the run away leader with 12 flights is the gorgeous Saab 340. Following the Saab with 4 flights is the A320 and then I've got 3 aircraft with 3 flights apiece, 737-800, A319 and RJ-100.
When I was BAV (the original before it folded) I used to fly the 767 a lot as it was longest range aircraft available to lower ranked pilots.

You see I'm very different there: I have rarely flown the Saab 340. It will be interesting to see the results for this one.

Don't know what leads my logbook. My guess would be 747s then 757s.

Well, considering the amount of flights that the aircraft has a day and how common it is, I would say that it is the 737.

BTW, a 737 takes off every 6 seconds (or something like that; well, atleast according to Mike Rowe on 'Dirty Jobs')

747 also leads in my logbook. Hmm... this one will be interesting.
