PMDG's secret aircraft revelealed
On the PMDG forum, There was a man who posted a link to the Aerosoft's future products list. Aerosoft "not thinking" Posted PMDG's long awaited Jetstream 41 on their PDF Future Product Doc. "by accident".
[AirSimmer forums]
So, I'm happy , I wanted a good J41.
What are your thoughts on this ?

Latest news by Robert S. Randazzo :
PMDG BAe JS4100:
============
The information on this product was accidentally leaked by our publishing partner, Aerosoft. I am quite disappointed in this inadvertent (but easily avoidable) error on their part- as it has disrupted a more informative and exciting rollout plan that we had for this innovative new product offering. While many on our beta team are understandably upset that the cat was let out of the bag- we're taking the more Zen approach that sometimes these things happen- and after working with Aerosoft for a decade- I'm disappointed that it was leaked- but... it was an accident.
We had been planning a rollout for early February so that you can see how the airplane is progressing- but this has slipped until POSSIBLY next week. We might even begin showing you some really neat new features on the airplane as early as this weekend- but don't hold me to that!
This project is the first product we are producing using an innovative new technique for developing advanced cockpit simulations- and we think you'll be very excited by the quality level when we show her to you! This project has served as a technology tester for how we are going to implement many features of the NG2.0's virtual cockpit- and all of us are very happy with the results!
In addition- this simulation will have a very thorough simulation of the TPE-331-14 engine, which is VASTLY different from the PT6 engine most commonly found in FS based turboprops. You'll get a very interesting real world experience operating this airplane- and we are planning a number of extensibility features to help you learn how to fly the airplane correctly and safely, while learning about the various quirks and character traits of this airplane that has always been a favorite in my own logbook. (Examples: Off-rack steering, engine temperature and torque management, Automatic Power Reserve, and some interesting characteristics of this airplane's flight model.....)
The PMDG BAe JS4100 is NOT an express product- but is a full featured simulation of a workhorse turborop commuter that is perfect for scratching that "short hop" itch.
Stay tuned!

Re: PMDG's secret aircraft revelealed
Interesting pick by PMDG, nice aircraft for the short hops. If I had my choice, and PMDG was going to make another commuter along with their B1900 series, I wish they would have made a DeHavilland DHC-8-400 Dash 8. I coulda really used a nice Dash
.

Re: PMDG's secret aircraft revelealed
Awww I was hoping it would be a 'Lite' product, like their B1900s

Re: PMDG's secret aircraft revelealed
Dittos. As much as I love realism, I don't want to get a type rating just to figure out how to play with my purchase.Carlo wrote:Awww I was hoping it would be a 'Lite' product, like their B1900s

Re: PMDG's secret aircraft revelealed
Excellent, one of my earliest flights that I can remember is commuting between Charlottesville and Newark via Dulles on United Express' JS41s. Now after 10 years of FS, I can finally replicate that trip.
SWEET.

I read Robert's messages and never saw anything about being FSX only.
Where'd he say that?

FSPilotShop and the developer is NMG Trading. Have a look under FSX African Scenery products and you'll find quite a few South African airports.

Re: PMDG's secret aircraft revelealed
I have to warn you though; Either through bad optimisation or I don't know what, the frame rate drops quite a bit when using FACT or FAJS unfortunately, but I have been in contact with NMG Trading about the issue, and they're working on an update which should be out soon.
