Finally reach 6021:08 Hours of Virtual flight time
I finally reach 6021:08 Hours of Virtual flight time. These number are mostly because I fly long flight. It feel great to have more than 6000 hours flying times.

I have 144:11 hours, and have been here since 1/19/04 (DANG, that's almost five years!!!
). If it weren't for my management hours from that time when I was Aircraft Developer, my flight to Franklin, PA on Gulfstream Int'l last week would've made my hours up to the triple digits.
Why so little? I fly routes that you could very well just drive to your destination
With the exception of the rare long-haul here and there. Plus, I only fly a couple times a month since I spend 99.99999% of FSX messing with repaint and FSX contact point tests. I need a life.

I've also seen a decline in my hours recently. On my new PC, which I built to run FS9 smoothly on, I have probably flown four real flights. I seriously need to take a weekend and fill it with flights to get me back into my previous ways.
Congrats on the 6000 mark.

Where in the world do you find the time...?
Congrats on the hours!

I guess I could have piloted ultra-long-hauls like Air Canada's ZSPD-CYYZ (with more than 6,000 NM it's an ultra-long-haul in my book) but I couldn't risk being ousted from VATSIM for such a thing. I control a TON in VATSIM; I cannot run the risk of being banned from the network for something I have done while piloting. And I don't want to go back to offline piloting because I know it's more unrealistic than anything online. It also explains why I don't pilot much.
My next long-haul: ACA183 CYUL-CYVR (it's actually at my own long-haul lower threshold of 2,000 NM, my upper threshold being 6,000 NM) and followed by CYVR-RJAA, JAL17. I actually have the time to do these only because it's my autumn break (my college actually have an autumn break and a spring break).

And I thought the 1,000 mark was a big deal for most people...college has really taken a toll on my FS time. I think that (if able) on Thanksgiving I'll try to get up to 300 hours. At least, one New Year's resolution has been met. Let's see if I can get to the 1,500 mark.
