8 years later...

If I recall correctly, I joined this Virtual Airline in 2002. I was not a real life pilot at the time, and the guidance and friendship of the board members was very instrumental to me becoming a pilot. These forums (well, the last version archive anyway) have records of my first solo, private pilot checkride, and so on. I've become very close to a lot of members here, although I've been growing distant lately.

As most of you know, I've been instructing primarily in Cirrus (WMU), and Mooney (Private owners) aircraft for the last 2 and a half years. What you didn't know is that I'm also actively trying to join the Air National Guard to fly KC-135's part time. Hopefully I'll find out this week if I made the cut from the interview.

I wish everyone here the best of luck, and assuming I'm not in military flight training, I'll definitely be at the convention in New York. Additionally, as a closing gift (so to speak), if any of you real pilots needs a BFR, IPC, high performance/complex endorsement, or anything else- I'll give up to 3 hours of instruction for free if you mention that you were a SimAirline.net pilot. You'd obviously have to supply the aircraft, I have experience in all the common types.

I wish you all the best of luck, and I'll be readily available on Facebook if anyone needs anything.

Thanks Aaron, not only for this VA, but for the community you have helped build.

Woot! Brandon that's awesome, best of luck to you!!

I also enjoy how it's considered "part time". Oh yeah...I fly three-holers on the side. No biggy.

The three holers are the KC-10. The KC-135 is the modified 707.
