2 New Repaints - Overland 777

Post by DeanClay » 18 Apr 2008, 14:39

Hey Guys,

Got back to painting a bit this week, and came up with these two, any comments and/or constructive criticism is welcome :) :
KLM, PH-BQI:
http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o277 ... KLM777.png" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Kuwait Airways, 9K-AOA:
http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o277 ... AIT777.png" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Photobucket's compression makes them seem a bit blurry though.
Thanks!

Very nice Dean. I will be adding the KLM to my collection as soon as you upload them.
I wish I had your talent. I tried painting a 50 North B733 in Virgin Express and an Overland
A320 in Virgin Sun but they looked hidious and I gave up.

Keep up the great work, You don,t know how lucky you are to be able to produce such works of art.

Very good looking stuff!
If you're taking requests, then I'd really like an ANA 763. I haven't found any Overland ANA 767s :(

Thanks a lot, been looking for one for ages! I can't really be bothered at the moment to learn the LevelD 767, for which I've found several ANA repaints, so Overland is ideal :D

I have'nt looked at the Level-D ones, however, if you have both Level-D and Overland 767's, you can use Level-D textures with overland :wink: .

I never knew the LDS model was based on the Overland. Some textures will work on the CLS and Overland models, although I tried some CLS ones on the Overland model and there was a small patch missing on the forehead, so they are not totally compatible.

Funny you say that Alex, I was just about to put up some Iran Air pics of the A300. They were CLS textures, and have that little patch missing :lol: .

I wonder if that is a problem with all CLS / Overland textures (forehead missing). If it is, it would be really helpful if there is a fix you can do to the textures to show the forehead. I am desparate for CX colours for my Overland A346.

For the Cathay A346, I use the CLS textures in the first package of this page http://library.avsim.net/search.php?Sea ... &Go=Search" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Unless you are wanting actual Overland based textures.

Those are the exact ones that I am using, except I get the forehead problem. I may have to try them again.

I think that its probably best to get used to it if you can, unless someone comes up with a nice repaint of it :)

Okay mine are up if anyone wants to try them out.
