I, too, tried once. I managed to make some nice graffiti with the paint tool, but that's about it. :P

I'm using some repaints meant for CLS on my Overland aircraft, and I've never noticed this forehead problem you guys talk about :?

I discovered yesterday that LevelD paints were compatible with the Overland 763, but after looking in the ANA LevelD texture folder, I saw that there were over 40 .bmps, when there are only 30 in Overland 763 repaints and that the naming scheme was totally different. Are you guys sure they're compatible? :? :?

P.S.
Great work on the KLM 777 btw 8)

Yeah theyre Compatible, but Level-D has some extra bmp's that begin with something like 'lvld_b6_...' . However, overland does not need these textures, hence why they have less :wink:

Basically, you only need to copy the textures that make a difference (fuselage, Tail, Engines, winges etc) from Level-D over to Overland.

And thanks for the comments :)

If the repaint works, who cares if one repaint has more files than the other!

I need to look into that forehead problem...

A one like this one ?
http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DL ... CatID=root" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Should be a decent enough paint if its by PBD :wink:

You must be like me, if a screenshot looks pretty bad, then it puts you off downloading it :lol:

You missed my point...

The fact that there are more .bmps in the LevelD texture folder should indicate that there will be a compatibility issue, and believe it or not, some people don't know how to distinguish fuselage, wing, tail textures from their left elbow (me being one!), especially considering I can't see what each .bmp is.

Yep, exactly. I don't like downloading a plane or scenery if I can't see what it looks like first.

Was doing my usual scan through for authors I like in screenshots this afternoon (nothing else to do, damn weather) and I find this.... The KL is looking good, I just might have to try it sometime but from the screenshots it looks like the KLM logo up front is too big. The blue fuselage also looks a little too blue, see here: http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?L ... eID=190350" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You should do the same repaint on the Overland|SMS 777-300ER, that'd be a nice addition.

Thanks Nick!, id agree that the blue is a brighter more vivid blue than most paints, however to me it seemed to give a more 'New' Look.
Might try the 773ER, wouldnt be for a while though, have lots going on at the moment :(

Hey Dean

I just downloaded the KLM and all I can say is Very Nice. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
It will be my very next flight.

Any chance that you might do the Overland B777-200lLR next in Emirates colours. Right now
there is no paint for this one and next fall Emirayes will be flying to LAX and SFO.

I know we have a freeware version on our website but I like flying Overland's
stuff.

Keep up the great work and I look forward to flying you next creation no matter what it may be.
