Nice composition, if it is a little dark overall (I know you can't see the aurora borealis when it's light out
).
One comment. If you pause a flight to take a screenshot, wait until the "Paused" message at the bottom of the left of the screen disappears before snapping the shot. If you do get the message, you can crop the bottom portion of the image off using an image editting program (I use GIMP).

A small reminder: you do not enter screenshots directly to the contest, you enter them to be considered for the gallery.
And I second what Tim said: it is a little dark overall and the pause message at the bottom kinda makes the screenshot a little less appealing but practice makes perfect.

Well, FS actually shows these Auroras during the daytime also: CO46 over Northern IrelandRatherBFlyin wrote:Nice composition, if it is a little dark overall (I know you can't see the aurora borealis when it's light out).

Not a bad first atempt. I think you are on your way to
getting some nice shots in the future.
I hate the way FS makes the aurora borealis look. I bet the person
that came up with that has never even seen the aurora borealis.
Here is what they look like for anyone who has never seen them
