Enhancing editing a little more

Post by seahawks7757 » 02 Apr 2010, 10:59

So trying to further enhance my editing skills by working on getting more picley such as selecting just the aircraft instead of the whole image. Any Feedback? I am thinking the aircraft looks alot brighter and better then it did in yesterdays few shots of this same approach.

Shot I refered to from other day before trying to enhance some more-

Personally I like it more but now only going to cause longer to get shots out as this is even more time consuming but better results I think. Any other tips on anything more I could potentially do?

Not bad at the first try, but the second image is definitely way too dark.

The first image is great, however.

Thanks guys, Shooting in that weather is crap from the start and makes it hard to get anything of quality.
Heres the next one-
811 here about tipped over on final when it got hit with a nice gust. Awesome view of the right Winglit

I am atempting it into Airliners but I think they will say the tail is a little blurry.

The fuselage is pretty grainy for their standards as well. But you did a great job on the color with that one. Its tough shooting in weather like that so I can't blame you.

They look good but try not to make the shots look too 'edited'. A couple look slightly over saturated.

Thanks guys for the comments, that weather is crap to shoot in, of the 80 or so shots I got in about 10 minutes only about 10 of them are worth attempting to edit.

That is the bane of the photographer's existence. You take hundreds of pictures, and end up with a couple dozen ones worth keeping.
