Here's a set of shots I've submitted to my new VA's screenshot section. However, they lower ratings than expected. Tell me what you think! Also let me know if the links don't work.
http://apg.pacificairways.net/ss/display.php?id=10668 -767 landing in MIA.
http://apg.pacificairways.net/ss/display.php?id=10665 -767 boarding in IAD.
http://apg.pacificairways.net/ss/display.php?id=10657 -767 taxiing out in MIA.
http://apg.pacificairways.net/ss/display.php?id=10653 -767 on climbout at MIA.
(that one got VERY low ratings and I don't know why)

Thanks!

Re: Pacific Airways
You've sure got some nice sceneries installed!
I have nothing more than default for everything, excepting I have great replacement generic textures.
Just hate that livery, Pacific Airways, it looks like a child designed it.
Is it your new VA?
I'm currently on the waiting list for VPA - noticed that you got accepted last week.
What's it like there?

I love the livery, it looks professional and pretty. It is my new VA. I'm very pleased with them.
VPA was not what I was looking for. I will be removed from the roster soon. However the waiting list isn't too long (less than a month for me). I'd ask Tim Lincoln about VPA, he has quite a bit of experience with them, whereas I don't.

Re: Pacific Airways
I will certainly be happy to answer any questions you might have about VPA, just don't take it as gospel since I am not a member of the management there.
Decker, sorry to hear that VPA didn't fit what you were looking for. You are more than welcome to return in the future if your FS needs change.
Regarding the screenshots, they look fine to me. There doesn't seem to be anything really exceptional about them, but they certainly aren't bad screenshots (the first one is a bit of a poor angle on the aircraft though). I agree that the livery is a bit on the simple side, but there have been plenty of airlines that did really well with a simple livery.

Re: Pacific Airways
Thanks Tim. And I agree, in retrospect some angles are less than perfect.
But in my defense, I just don't see how this screenshot has a 9 rating, when mine get 6's.

He's at like 1000ft with his gear up!
And not to be critical, but what the hell...

His caption: "Enroute to EHAM!" Rating: 9.

Re: Pacific Airways
Yeah...those shots both suck. The lesson to be learned here: either this guy is voting on his own shots multiple times, or this group doesn't know what the hell makes a good shot, so don't feel badly if they rank yours poorly.frogdude4993 wrote:Thanks Tim.
