Um this would be aviation discussion, not industry. I would move it if I were a mod but can't/ Its a newer plane. Theres also a video on WN's website of them painting it.

opps, oh well...I thought it had to do with Southwest Airlines; which "Industry" would make more sence.

I like the paint, its deff nice and looks more complicated then their other ones.

The day WN makes PIT a hub, I want Pennsylvania One!

Don't start another argument; it's a pipe dream. Lay off.

So, except for that little orange bit, how does that represent Illinois? :? I'm a midwesterner, and I always associate Illinois either with square farms that go on for miles, or with Chicago. This paint has neither.

No, haven't noticed, I don't care that much about Southwest. Still, that leaves the question, "what does the state flag represent?"

You're lucky I could be meaner, the state flag represents the state; Duh.

If you were to have answered 'no', that would have worked. Understand?

From Wikipedia: "The current flag depicts the Great Seal of Illinois, which was originally designed in 1819 and emulated the Great Seal of the United States. In the eagle's beak there is a banner with the state motto, "State Sovereignty, National Union." The dates on the seal, 1818 and 1868 represent the year Illinois became a state and the year in which the Great Seal was redesigned by Sharon Tyndale. Although "State Sovereignty" comes first in the motto, Illinois was recently victorious in the American Civil War on the Union side, fighting against state sovereignty, so Tyndale placed "State" at the bottom and "Sovereignty" upside-down"
