Not bad, let me guess: you like trains?
You could cut out the blurry photos.

Thanks, I was to tired to care. I just used the bulk uploader for Photobucket and put them all together and just threw the links on there and then got ready for bed. Too tired to care about doing anything with them.

So which one do you play? Trainz or MSTS or both? I heard that Microsoft is supposedly developing MSTS2 with worldwide tracks/scenery like MSFS I guess.

I have just Trainz, I did not care much for MSTS. OTOH I am not really thrilled with any of the train sims, the scenery isn't "persistent" like flight simulator, in train sim if you want to do Marias Pass you need that route/scenery, if you want to do Seattle-Portland, you need that scenery as it isn't readily available etc.

But yeah I like trains, I've ridden on Amtrak's Coast Starlight a few times from Vancouver, WA to Martinez and back of course. I've also done Klamath Falls -> Emryville and back as well. I no longer ride trains on long distance runs because of their constant lateness they are on time at least 25% for the coast starlight IMHO.

Anyway, I want to ride on more trains someday :D

The French TGV is the best. Going 300km/h with almost no level crossings is awesome! (~180mph for you Americans). Also, the world record of 578km/h was set on a TGV line in France. :P (again, 359mph)
Come to France, mynetdude, you'll have fun and you definitely won't be late, although you might not see much along the way! :D
I rode from Lyon to Montpellier, across Provence, and I didn't see much except a purple blur (all the lavender).

I think the German ICE is faster than the French TGV on average except for the world record. Levender vision eh? :P

The world record goes back and forth between the French and the Japanese. :)

^^ SLEEK!!!!

Where are these at? :D I like the one on the right better than the one on the left. Only part about the one on the right is that it starts to get "bulky" the further down away from the end/cab. I would have expected the design to be sleeker than that and have curved top/sides.

Don't look as good though. :P

Now if Russia were to come up with a series of high speed trains, they would be some sweet looking things! 8)

True Maglev doesn't look great, though fast.

Russia indeed would come up with some nice looking ones. Speaking of trains in Russia what do they have around??? I don't think they have any high speed trains right now, if any trains at all.

India doesn't seem to have any high speed trains, but they have quite a few trains that aren't exactly old but they aren't state of the art and at least are somewhat modern.

Sure, they have trains in Russia. There are short-distance trains from Moscow to St. Petersburg, and the ultra-longhauls from Moscow to Vladivostok! The Moscow Metro is glorious, like an underground palace.
