Alitalia - SkyTeam Timetable
Hey Guys,
Just a query I have. In the Skyteam Timetable, im looking for flights from Toronto to Rome. Alitalia have a service, namely AZ651. However, the Equipment states a 764. To my recollection, Alitalia have never had a 764? And Im unsure what to do.
Thanks!

Hmm, it isn't even a codeshare either.
I would presume it mean the 763, although you'll have to let Aaron decide upon it.

On the fleet page next to the name it states that the 763 might be written as 767,764 or 763.

Hmm, seems stupid to have it listed as a 764 when it's 763...sanins192 wrote:I wonder why they have not bothered to change it on the timetable.

Chris is probably right:
http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Alital ... 67-300.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Alital ... -300_B.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
But doesn't that just confuse people that don't know there are two different seat configs??

Who, the people who think a Dash-8 is a Cessna, a DC-10 is a 747, and a 747 is NOT a 747?

People don't care, it could be a 744 or a 734 and they wouldn't notice much difference whatsoever.
Alitalia is one of the airlines that uses different aircraft codes for the same aircraft but with different seat configurations. Annoying but what are you going to do. AZ only flies the 767-300ER anyway.
