Wow! Surprisingly I hadn't heard about this, so thanks! Good news to hear. Will be interesting to see how big or extensive it is and if they plan on using it for other things than the 787 at some point.

That's a bit...wrong.

The thing is, if anything it would hurt Seattle/Washington because in theory, the unemployment rate in that state will go up. Meanwhile, South Carolina will gain employees and now has many new jobs available or as Nick said, bringing in workers from Washington and therefore bringing their unemployment rate down.

So, SC will not be hurt, rather helped.
