That's because it's iFDG.Never noticed that using IFDG's FDE.

With IFDG's planes you're sure to find yourself on a taxiway and not in the grass like with POSky onesCaseyD wrote:That's because it's iFDG.Never noticed that using IFDG's FDE.

I guess I've never really had a problem with iFDG's FDEs, mainly everything else of theirs. Posky's FDE's are just hideous, the only one I can stand is the new ERJ one.

Took the plunge and decided to give this merge a try.Been using a PA/Wilco merge, but just curious to see how this one behaves. It seems IFDG is the airbus model Simairline recommends.
Will be operating BA398 EGLL-EBBR with a A319 later when my daughter goes to bed...she wants the PC now...arghh kids...

Hi
I did the Merge to the instructions but there is no Virtual Cockpit! Any answers why? Or does the merge only work for the 2D?
Many Thanks
Rob

You cannot copy the Wilco VC because it's hard coded into the Wilco model. Only the 2D model.Robbow93 wrote:Hi

Alright ok Thanks!
Re: Merge Instructions - Wilco/iFDG A32x
Hello,
I find the aircraft started rotating by itself at about 100 knots (fully loaded). I presume I need to edit an entry in the config file, anyone any ideas?
Also the ailerons ceased and would not move at all and the elevators were slow to repsond.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Dave

It sounds like the merge needs some fine tweaking. Just trim the plane before you take off and it should solve your first problem.

Re: Merge Instructions - Wilco/iFDG A32x
This is a known problem and is unavoidable when using this merge unfortunately.
When you increase to takeoff power, I usually use about 5 seconds of trim down in order to reset the system to neutral.

Re: Merge Instructions - Wilco/iFDG A32x
Does anyone have a copy of their cfg file for this merge. I would love to take a look at it. I have merged the wilco panel with the IFDG aircraft but at cruise the throttles go from idle to 85% and keep swining back an forth. Quite annoying during flight but other than that the aircraft works great. I am doing the merge since there is a lack of textures for the wilco/ft 319 frontier airlines.
Thanks,
Tim
