Active Sky 6.5 Turbulence Question
I was noticing the other day that the air was rather calm, on every single one of my flights
I know most of the time you have a few bumps during climbout and descent, as well as in cruise so, I was wondering, how exactly do you turn on the turbulence for AS? Also, does it download winds aloft to cause the turbulence? Thanks!

Re: Active Sky 6.5 Turbulence Question
Unfortunately I use ASA, so I'm not sure how to get turbulence working in AS6.
Wish I could help.
If push comes to shove, you could check at the HiFi Sim forums.

Re: Active Sky 6.5 Turbulence Question
Firstly, make sure you have it set in the options. Depending on what version of FSUIPC you have (free version or full), it can smooth turbulence for you, which you don't want. Make sure this option is unchecked. I may be wrong here, but I think the wind smooth option in the options (AS options) can also smooth out turbulence. Your best bet would be to try at the ActiveSky forums.

Alright, thanks for the input guys! I'll head over to HiFi and see what I can find.
