So I finally have a computer that can fly FS, and I'll be able to get back in the swing of things. I don't really care too much about AI past the point of it just being there, so opted for something simple like WOAI.
I went and installed, everything was peachy, until I fired up FS9 and nothing was there. I think I figured it out and realized that because I'm on a 64-bit system, none of the AI installed in the right place. But then again, I could be wrong. When I go to reinstall, I opt to manually find the FS9 path, but once I've found the main folder, it won't let me select it as the destination.
So, two things. Anyone have a solution for that? Or, is there a way of uninstalling WOAI? I haven't dealt with this stuff in 2+ years, so I'm pretty rusty.
Thanks!

Re: Uninstalling WOAI
I did the exact same thing when I reformatted my drive and installed Windows. I downloaded every WOAI package (all 500+ of them) and installed them in small batches. I did not have an issue with the installer and I use 64-bit Windows. I think I selected the main FS9 folder once, then it knew where to put them each time after that.
You can get rid of whatever you've installed already by just going into the scenery/world/scenery folder and deleting all the bgls with 'WOA' at the beginning. Check to see if anything is there.

Sorry, didn't see the reply till now...
There's nothing in there. I even searched the computer for all files containing WOA in the name, and no bgl's.

Re: Uninstalling WOAI
Hmm. This may be obvious, but try running in admin mode and turning UAC off. I'm using version 2.04, with the FS2004 path set as: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\
I can't see what else could be the problem. Corrupt packages maybe?

Re: Uninstalling WOAI
Well I am an admin, and UAC is off. I'll try downloading some new packages. I haven't done Delta yet, I'll see what that gets me...

Nothing. I installed the full Delta package, downloaded straight from AVSIM, and it gave me nothing. Still only have Landmark, Soar, etc.

Re: Uninstalling WOAI
Hmmm. That is puzzling. Even though you are admin, you still need to right click and run as admin to get elevated privildges. Also, try installing a few packages at a time. Just do a mulitple select when you choose the packages to install and it should do a batch installation. After I downloaded all the files I installed in batches of 50 so it didn't crash or freeze.

Re: Uninstalling WOAI
Just tried both. Nothing. I even temporarily moved the bgl file for default traffic and got no results.
Do you or anyone else have an idea of where these files could be going? I figure they're installing, but not going into the right place.
