Banner problems...

Wondering how something works here or why we do things the way we do? Just ask.

Banner problems...

Post by frogdude4993 »

I don't know exactly where to post this but why is it that some peoples banners show up all the time and others show up only every once in a while? I'd say with me my banner only shows up about 30% of the time.

In your profile you need to have " Always attach my signature: " set to Yes.

I'm not talking about my signature, that always shows up. But my banner doesn't always show up in the signature...

Here's proof that my banner didn't show up in that post: http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l263/ ... Random.jpg

Does my banner show up on your computer? Because as you can see on mine it's blank.

That happens to me as well, Just a tip: make sure the "Attach signature (signatures can be changed in profile)" box is checked and try previewing the post before posting it.

Nick's banner didn't show up in that picture either... maybe just wait a minute longer for your computer to load the page?

Wait, this may be late, but aren't we not allowed to mention other VA's, or are we just not allowed to promote them? But I must say, I was considering joining them before I found SimAirline.

Your banner seemed to show up fine on my computer.

That was more of a statement than actually helping you with your problem. :?

Newbie needs help!

Gents,

Your banner looks fine! My question is, where are the instructions on how to attach a banner in your signature box? :?:

Thanks in advance,

André

I don't know why you've posted in such an old topic.

To answer your question, you need to upload you banner to an image hosting website such as photobucket or imageshack, and then copy the IMG link (looks like ), into the signature banner area in the profile area of the boards.

Yeah try and just start a new topic rather than digging up ones from a year ago.

The problem with starting a new topic is that half the time someone will just refer him to the old one. :P

Wow guys, this is supposed to be`"fun"?

Post by Racoon1027 »

Gents,

I looked for the topic and did not find it. Even the search did not pick it up.

I am new to this and was asking for help... thanks Tim for understanding that I was just looking for info and I would have been happy with a link.

This was not a new topic, I attached my question to an ongoing topic.

Now that I know, I will let you fine gents go back to more important things.

Have a good day.

That's the point, it wasn't ongoing, it was almost a year ago. And yes, we know this isn't a new topic. They said to start a new one.

To post or not to post...

My misunderstanding,

On other forums that I just joined, they preferred to compile similar subjects into one string. I just assumed this is what this forum wanted.

My apologies.

I wouldn't refer him to one that old. This one is ancient!
