The 737ng FMC won't autotune your nav radios, you have to enter the ILS frequency into both nav radios and you must be below ( I think) 2400 feet to capture the localiser. You can get the ILS freq from the INIT REF / Approach pages in the FMC, however you must tell the fmc which runway your landing ...

I'm not sure i like the idea of paying for liveries, especially at £7 a go! if you want all of them then it's £100....Crikey!!! I only paid £37 for the pmdg 744 and the liveries are free.
I like the weather radar in the ND tho, but not as good as the reality XP/pmdg737 ND merge.

Payware Aircraft: FMC Cost Indexes for VBA

If you don't fly payware aircraft then this probably won't apply to you. Cost Indexes define the performance, fuel burn and cruise speed for an aircraft type, here are the CI's for Virtual British Airways. Airbus Fleet. (PSS Airbus Pro series) GB Airways. Airbus A320/A321 CI 25 British Med Airbus A3...

What i done was to find the entries in my fs9.cfg and then just changed those that needed to be changed, i only had to change a couple of entries as most of them were the same as what is in the thread on flightsim.com forums. One setting i did have to change was TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=512, this in my orig...

faster frame rates and no blurry textures...read on

Whilst browsing the flightsim.com forums i came across this thread that claims to increase the performance of FS9 by editing certain parameters in the FS9.cfg file. Having seen similar threads on other forums i was sceptical but decided to try it anyway, the amount of 'Happy simmer`s' reporting good...

Very nice explanation, thanks for sharing that :)

Yes, ActiveSky V simulates icing and its very good at it too! A recommended add-on to get. Certain payware aircraft like Level-D and PMDG do simulate anti-icing for wings and engine nacelles.

but then I also loved my old square 2.8 Granada.... Was this the pre-1985 Ford Granada before the scorpio shape, Keith? Those old Grannies are worth a mint now! I sold mine on e-bay about 2 years ago ended up getting £1300 for it. not bad for a 1983 2.8 ghia estate. Now very rare, like the Rover SD...

see what the wind speed is as well, that will affect arrival times. It dosen't really matter what your airspeed is, its the ground speed that matters. basically a headwind will slow you down, a tail wind will speed you up. :)
