If you want an answer now you can look through the roster pages and count or wait for Aaron to get back.

I lived in Swaziland from approximately '88 to '96. I live in the US now, though.

Post moved to Virtual Airline Discussion. This is not an administrative question about our operations.

To answer the question, there are currently 31 members in the system from South Africa (not including pilots that have applied but not flown). Of these, 12 are currently on the roster.

I believe they're native to all of Africa. The Zulus were in S. Africa before the British, however there are a lot of British people from S. Africa...

PC? I think colored is more proper than saying "black" they technically aren't black they are just a very dark brown if u wanted black well... heh they'd be burnt lol (no offense meant).

I think he did just fine with the question, stop moderating posts "backseat Moderator"

So it is like in Australia where the natives are aborighinis and all of the white people would have descended from the British settlers?

coloured people

Post by ehallaby » 14 Jul 2007, 18:14

Well as far as I know coloured people are decendents from the dutch like Jan van Riebeeck.
I'm friends with coloureds and they're much more civilized and they speak afrikaans,so its not just the colour that vary theres a Very big difference.

theres quite abig difference, The native South Africans are the Zulus, but also in there is, the afrikaaners and the Indians. THe Afrikaaners are of the dutch decendents, and the indians are obviously from India, but they are regarded as indians there not south africans... kinda weired, i am personally a South African Indian, but i call myself South African not Indian, as my great great great great great grandparents came from india... besides i like south africa more than india
