YOU THINK I FORGOT??????? There is no such thing as forgetting the NHL Playoffs, especially when your team is in it!

Josh, all I can say is, I hope for your sake and my sake the Rangers loose to your Caps.

Devils are, well, decent at this point. I'm happy that we are at least winning the series 2-1 so far. The games are pretty competitive for the first round in my opinion.

Dennis?

And Aaron, who are you supporting this year?

Didn't forget, just didn't bother. I really want to see the Caps win, haven't missed a game all season. Game tonight was amazing, they totally dominated and I knew they had it in them. Boston will sweep for sure with the state of the Habs' defense, Devils will win no doubt, they're a strong team and will likely represent the East in the finals. Pens have that playoff experience down so they've got that series locked up. I'll resist going into the West for now...

First off, thank you for not giving US Airways to PIT as they're unworthy (USAir would be fair game, though). Second, the Stanley Cup's comin' back to the 'Burgh and you know it

One thing I'll miss after hockey season - Miami Air's 737s, especially their 737-400.

Really? really...

It's Red Wings vs. Devils or Bruins. Red Wings obviously. Only consistent team this whole season.

I've gotta vote for my Flames. Unfortunately, they're down 2-1 (though tonight was a good night, won it 4-2). We'll see who's down into the finals, then I'll choose sides.

On a side note, I'm hoping my hometown boys, the Alaska Aces, win the Kelly Cup of the ECHL this year. I was at every game when we won it in 2005-06...Hopefully I'll see it come home again this season. I'm going to the games up here this weekend, we'll be playing the division finals against the Victoria Salmon Kings...Should be some good games.

Because I like Air Canada and I like Canada :P
Plus, my Science teacher is a Canadian NHL fan! 8)

Seriously though, I haven't got the foggiest idea. I don't really follow that sort of stuff over here in NZ...

Haha, it seems that some of those options Aaron won't even come close.

Anyway, I wonder what happened to San Jose, they were the best team in the league for the entire first half of the season.

And Josh, about the devils, knock on wood of course.

So Calgary caught up with Chicago...I'm excited about that. And Brodeur is now tied with Patrick Roy's playoff shutouts record...Here's to hoping he breaks the record as he already broke the career wins record this year...Which I believe Patrick Roy also held. And anyone see Brodeur's outburst the other day? Carolina scored with .02 left in the period to win it. Brodeur went to the ref to argue goaltender interference, but the ref said the goal was good. So Brodeur skated off, slammed his stick against the boards, then threw it at the boards and skated to the locker room.

I'm going to let it go, but I still think that should have been interference. I mean, bad calls are a part of the game, but not when it's at the very end like that.

I see bad calls all the time at my hometown teams games, the Alaska Aces...I was at one tonight, plenty of horrible calls or no-calls on obvious penalties. Good news is we shut out the Victoria Salmon Kings 3-0...That makes Jean-Phillipe Lamoureux, the ECHL Goaltender of the Year and the Alaska Aces goalie, 3-0 at home, all three of them shutouts...Hopefully he makes it into the NHL someday.

Check out some of his awesome saves...I see this stuff all the time at Aces games, this guy never ceases to amaze me. He set the record this year in the ECHL for most shutouts in a regular season with 8. He helped the Aces make a home record of something around, I think, 33-7-2. We've won 20 out of the last 22 games at home. And we also set the record for highest penalty kill percentage this year in the 21-year history of the ECHL at 89.3%.

Anyway, sorry to blab off, check the videos out.
Here's videos when he was at University of North Dakota:

Here's some awesome saves of his while playing here with the Alaska Aces:

And here's some videos from tonights game, which are already up:
End of game lovin' (fight. We got a good rivalry with the Salmon Kings, this series will be brutal): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thMxuew-HP8

Attended one of the best sporting events I've ever witnessed: Caps vs. Rangers, Game 7. Managed to snag second row seats, so it was a ton of fun. Loudest place I've ever been in (and I recently was at a Dropkick Murphy's concert for St. Patty's Day). I LOVE playoff hockey!!

I hate playoff hockey as of last night (I cannot believe the last two minutes of the Devils game).

I think I'm officially moving on to the Boston Bruins now. Good luck to the Canes in round two, as they are really going to need it.

And thank you to the Caps for defeating the Rangers!
